High profile Promotions, Inc is a full service Talent Agency based in Austin, Texas. They provide talent nationwide for Trade Shows, Banquets, Print Projects, Commercials and Fashion Modeling. They contacted Picoso for a major face lift of their website. They wanted a site that reflected the company and it’s values. We worked closely with them to give them a very elegant, modern and fashionable website. The website is also powered by a CMS giving them the ability to add, update and remove models as necessary.

Client: El Paso Bicycle Club

Project: Chile Pepper Challenge 2010

The Chile Pepper Challenge is a yearly event organized by El Paso Bicycle Club, it  has now been part of El Paso’s cycling community for the past 29 years.

This past year they contacted us to help them create a more sophisticated, memorable and consistent identity for the event.

We were very happy to work on the event’s logo, poster, and apparel to generate a consistent look that better reflects the spirit of the event.

Client: AIGA San Antonio

Project: The First Ever AIGA San Antonio Munny Maker event identity and branding

AIGA San Antonio had their first big event as an association, we were lucky to work on the event identity and create posters, website and e-blasts, with the assistance of our colleagues at Murillo Design.

The nature of the event was to gather funds and create interest on the organization that benefits the creative community of San Antonio. The title of the event, Munny Maker,  is a word play that brought the idea of creating a poster that resembles money. The Posters were silk screened, using 2 inks on different kinds of paper to create and interesting variety.

The website e-blast layouts resemble money certificates more that they do an actual bill, this to better accommodate the information, but keeping the same elements used in the initial poster design.

We were also very pleased o participate in donating four custom made Munny Toy’s for the event. Each represents the quirky personality of each of the Picoso Members.

Client: Amakua market

Project: Identity, web  and print branding

We were approached by the client to generate an identity for her online project, Amakua Market, a diferent kind of online store that donates 10% of their profits to various charities, making you feel good about what’s on your bag.

The identity for Amakua Market would branch out to several online entities including; Online store, Call Me Ferg_e Blog, Twitter, and subsequent online campaigns for the charities.  As well as implementing a business card and stationery set for internal use.

The elements of gratitude, balancing chaos, and aumakua (the symbiotic relationship that exists between a person and the spirits of their ancestors through their manifestations in nature), were the basis for the logo design, that was later carried to the rest of the branded materials.

Client: UTEP Alumni San Antonio chapter

Project: UTEP Alumni San Antonio chapter softball team logo

We were asked by UTEP Alumni San Antonio Chapter to develop a logo for their softball team. It was a fun project to work on and to see the jerseys out there on the field for some friendly games.

Client: JungleTech

Project: Cattura Collateral and Trade Show Materials

We were asked by JungleTech to support their graphic needs for a trade show  where they were going to be showcasing their latest software, Cattura,  an easy-to-use lecture capturing to multi-publishing platform that is tailor-made for conferences, educational meetings, training services and classrooms. We designed and carried out new branded identity for Cattura, creating a brochure, vip card and banners.

Client: San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Project: SAHCC 2010 Fiesta Medal.

We were lucky to work on two projects with the SAHCC, their fiesta medal and their Golf Tournament event flyer

Their fiesta medal, the medal was inspired by the mosaics stroked all over San Antonio. We successfully represented the Chamber’s  commitment with Education, their heritage and their recent accreditation with the US Chamber
of Commerce.

On the event flyer for their Golf Tournament,
we wanted to show a complete different of what was done before. We waned to create a more inviting mood, this was successfully achieved with a very fresh-looking, resort-like illustration.

Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital Branding

Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital was founded in 1922, making it the oldest small animal veterinary practice in Texas. We were asked to take on the task of redesigning their website and giving them a the ability to fully update and manage all of the content.

They were really please with our work and asked us to polish up their logo and carry out their new look on the rest of their print elemnts, allowing the brand to stay consistent through out. We were able to come up with a fun and playful brand that is a reflection of all of the staff.

Working with the staff over at Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital was a lot of fun, they are a very lively group and it shows in the photo shoot we did with them.

Client: Friends of Milam Park

Project: Friends of Milam Park and Holiday Lighting Re-brand

In the spirit of giving, Friends of Milam Park contacted us in their effort for the relighting of Milam Park, to bring joy to the children at Christus Santa Rosa Children’s Hospital. We had the privilege to re-design their logo, where we focused on the joy and energy that revolves around the gazebo, the park’s main feature. This logo will help to promote this and other park events.

After creating the logo, we created a fun and animated poster to promote and celebrate the event that will take place for the Milam Park relighting.

Working on this project put a big smile on our faces and reminded us what the holidays are all about— friends, family, and finding in our hearts the space for those who need our help in our community.

Client: UTEP Alumni San Antonio chapter

Project: SA Chapter UTEP logo

The San Antonio Chapter of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) Alumni Association aims to support the city’s alumni and the current UTEP students; just as well, it seeks to continuously involve its members with the university and the local community.

This logo intertwines architectural elements of the university and San Antonio, creating
a sense of familiarity for the local alumni. This will allow the chapter committee to better promote organized events and to create an extended miner networking community in San Antonio.
